I grabbed these for free on the side of the road. Are they worth saving? Or does anyone else need the parts? Free if you need them.

I don't need them. They are heavy as
Oprah's arse. Let me know if you want them for cost of shipping -
I don't think they have much value in them, but Savard is still building speakers. Perhaps they can still assist with fixing them up.

Thanks man.

If anyone want parts let me know. I'll hold them for 2 months. Then they are toast

Unless someone tells me that these should sound better than my stock JBL L1s, they are on the free parts list.
Fyi...... I LOVE MY JBL L1s. -
Savard was/is an interesting company. Their cabinets are -- cabinets. I think they may even be solid wood (lumber) as opposed to veneered plywood, much less MDF or particle board.
They were (are?) a regional fave (although not necessarily for any good reason ) -- I think they're from Louisana or Arkansas or thereabouts?

Apparently the company bought up a bunch of 1-1/2" solid core oak doors and built cabinets from that! No wonder they are heavy. I found a couple threads on audikarma too.
