    You're probably better off investing in a publicly-traded stock that is "into it".

    My (admittedly brief) investigation/analysis three years ago showed that the miners available weren't very profitable after considering the unit cost, accessories, and the power cost. They would have been marginally profitable for the first several months but barely pay off the equipment in the long run. Hopefully that has changed or there are at least niches.

    Of course building for others is clear profit. ;-)
    Expect that there will be bumps in the road. Choose to not let them rattle you.
