I loved this show growing up. Herb along with Les Nesman and the others made it one of the funniest shows for the time.

That is sad news indeed.
I loved that show. I guess I still do. I have a whole slew of episodes (i.e., with the original music) that my father taped off-the-air many years ago. Yeah the video quality is execrable, but... so what?!
I'll have to watch a few and reminisce sometime soon...
PS Herb was a paragon of sartorial elegance, too.

That was a funny show.
RIP Mr. Bonner. Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -
Loved that show.
Remembers Dr. Fever saying booger on the air.
And the one when they threw out the turkeys. Les was hilarious over that.
RIP Herb

As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly.
Real turkeys can indeed -- barnyard variety turkeys... not so much.Oh the humanity.
One of the single funniest sitcom episodes extant (IMO).
