No more 3.5 mm jack on iPhone 😞

My old iphone had one and it was quite nice to just hook it up to a receiver with a 3.5 mm to RCA cable and boom.... Tune In or whatever was available for streaming. I have a Marantz pm5004 and a pair of RT25i I want to move into my new office but this won't work w iPhone12. Whats a work around or a decent Bluetooth speaker idea, as most of these seem jenky to me. Thoughts...?

There exists a lightning to RCA adapter cable, but it looks like it'll be doing the DAC work, and not sure you'll be getting much there for $15.

Off the top of my head for another wired option, I'd say try a Schiit Modi with USB, or something similarly affordable < $100.
Or Audioengine's B1 or similar, though I prefer Schiit's DACs over Audioengine's.
Might also consider a Raspberry Pi option and forgoing the iPhone for all but controlling the RPi?
I used to use the IOGEAR Tunetap BT receivers before I got a few Squeezeboxes, and they sounded pretty good, but they don't make them anymore. Plus, I was using the optical out and the pre or processor was handling the DAC duties. I think you'll probably want something better inline for a DAC, though, than that which these lower cost devices might provide.
Maybe check into Topping stuff, too. I know Drew liked at least one of their products.
Are you going to hook up a sub with those RT25is? I used to run a set in the home office. Pleasing, but needed a sub.
What about using an old dedicated computer or other repurposed mobile device instead of your phone?I disabled signatures. -
If wifi is available just use an older cell phone it doesn't need to be activated to use wifi and you could also use a cheap DAC like a Blu- dDentoGustard X26 Pro DAC

This would be for the office, so wifi may be completely out of the question due 'security concerns'. I guess I assumed cell phones have DACs inside them? I also didn't know a lightning connector is used for an audio signal as well as power. Boy, maybe I am a boomer!

This may be the ticket cost wise, although the AQ Dragonfly is intriguing. Thanks much gents!
