Monitor 11T Volume Issue?
So I've had these older speakers for over a month now. It seems that ever since I have used them (as fronts) I need to turn up the volume higher on my receiver. I have not upgraded anything on the speakers and all of my other speakers are 8 ohms (does that even matter?). Would the tweeter upgrade "help"? Would using contact cleaner on the binding posts "help"? Thanks in advance for any help!

Do your midwoofers above and below tweeter move in and out freely? Apply even pressure with fingers and thumb around the dust cap and push in and let move back out. Can you feel scratching or does it move freely? Froze not wanting to move? Do not force it.

Thank you for the response. All of the woofers (and passive radiators) move freely. Does the tweeter appear ok?

The tweeter's definitely the problem. There's a small man living inside it!
I've noticed a volume differential between speakers before. Is this an AVR or stereo receiver?I disabled signatures. -
Any time you change anything in an HT set up you must run the AVR calibration program again.Political Correctness'.........defined

Good one, msg! Haha. It's an AVR I am running. And F1nut I have yet to run Audssey on my Denon receiver ever since I hooked these up.
