Kasey Kahne (Nascar)

I have since Elliott retired, become a Kasey Kahne fan, T-shirt included. I cant believe what happened to him today that just sucked! It looks like the #9 car is jinxed or something, Eliott dominated last years final race at Homestead and has a flat on the final lap of his last race as a full time nascar driver, then today Kahne with 20 laps to go runs into oil put down by a blown engine from another car and slams the wall while he was running away from the competition. Damn I hate it!!!!

    I do love it!! but it sucks!!

    Fireshoes... Stewart led the most laps but faded towards the end and finished second. Martin ran good all day and won, jr lucked into 3rd because of all the wrecks but he was where it mattered at the end. Kahne got robbed cause nascar didnt throw the yellow when mears blew an engine, Kahne was well on his way to a win with 18 laps to go and hit the oil. But the Dawgs beat Clemson and move on in their quest for the CWS.

    When I saw Kasey hit that oil slick, I stood up with my hands above my head saying 'OH NO!!!!'.

    Horrible turn of events for the young lad, I was hoping he'd get his first.

    That was a neat drag race at the end for 2nd/3rd place with Jr though, talk about rubbin'....WOW

    I was glad that Johnson didnt get robbed, he was the class of the field.
    Harvick is a punk! He shouldnt have started that ****. Nothing in the media about it yet but Im curious to see how they handle it as well. Could be a suspension for Harvick cause I think hes already on probation.

    Where has I-SIG been lately???

    he makes it interesting though, as does tony stewart and a few others
    at the nascar race in tx 3 years ago me and my brother went to an heb or walmart or something and they had a harvick trailer set up and if you bought $50 worth of candy you got a lifesize cardboard cut out
    so he did what any fan would do, bought $50 worth of candy
    and when we got home he returned it at the local heb

    i still wish i knew how stewart's pit crew changed transmissions in 6 minutes...
    i cant even drop a damn transmission in 6 hours!
    ok maybe in 6...but still, thats nothing short of amazing knowledge, ability, and quickness on part of that crew...
    my favorite driver is jeff burton...he hasnt been doing so hot lately
    lately as in the last few years...lol

    I like Jeff too, I was at Darlington a few years back and he beat Bill Elliott to win, Elliott was on a long dry spell at the time.
    About the transmission... that is impressive but the way those cars are built its not that hard of a job compared to changing one on your car at home. Michigan bound another hopefully Kahne can win his first.

    looks like Stewart was at his finest today taking Kahne out before the half way point in the race. Evernham said it best"he just needs a good **** whipping".

    For the stuff that happened in the past...maybe....but not what happened today. That was racing...pure and simple. Besides...Stewart is good for the sport. NASCAR has become nothing more than "Rasslin' (wrestling for you guys up north) on wheels" anyway...and everyone knows that rasslin' needs "bad guys".

    I just added kasey to my fantasy league (nascar.com ultimate fantasy league) and benched dale jarrett....grrrrr
    my other 2 drivers are jeff gordon and jimmie johnson :)
