Yes, two sky lights. They were in the home when I bought it.
I wish I could get the SDA's closer to each other but I hate to lose the view. The sound stage is very wide. It's all about compromises with the honey. I will slowly change the speaker positions over weeks and she will never know. That is my plan.

The honey like to dress the manequin with clothes from stores. She will return the clothes after 30 days and then buy new clothes. I don't understand it but she gets to shop which is the important thing I guess.

    It's fun on Holloween however.

It's hard to tell from the picture, but doesn't the blue armed piece of upholstered furniture to the left break up the imaging and/or sound field at the listening position ?

Yes a little but the chair is lower than the mid range and tweeter speakers. I give up a little to get the speakers in this room. I must compromise with the Honey. I'm trying to get the SDA SRS in the room next.

    Must be patient.

i would think with the SDA's you have.. the distance between those wouldn't be a problem. and it sounds like it's not really a soundstage issue. what is the distance between em anyways?

where are the electronics? pic of them if you get the time. ha ha ha.

The sound stage is NOT a problem. In fact the sound stage is bigger in the sun room with the SDA SRS 2.3 than in the other room that has the SDA SRS 1.2. The 1.2's are 9 feet apart.

I use a B&K ref 10 for the pre amp, 2 channel only, and power the sun room with a Adcom GFA-555.

The other room is powered by 80's heathkit AA-1800 that I like very much.

The HT room is where I really went nuts. Three sets of SDAs.

A Marilyn Manson fan would love the dummy beside the speaker. Actually before you explained I thought I found another Manson fan to talk to. If your wife new what that was all about she would probably burn the dummy on a post in the front yard! :D

    Very nice setup.

I think the manequin is creepy, unless it turns into a chick like in that one movie. However, I envy the SDA's.

    nice room,

I actually think a manequin like that would be cool standing beside the SDA's. You have to be into Marilyn to understand it...

    Similarities?

Great room setup Bikezappa. The mannequin looks like a good compromise, but if the gang below were in my house, it would be enough to keep me away from my SDAs.

I don't understand the Marilyn Manson mannequin relationship. My honey read the posts and needs to know. To her it's a reason to shop.

Your right, no more SDAs for me. I never planned it this way but I keep finding them at very very good prices.

    Addiction.

I also note that they all sound very different based just on room placement.

The manequin just has that Marilyn Manson look. Pastey face and overall statuesque. He is very deranged when it comes to his concerts. Rent one sometime if you have a strong stomach. To tell you the truth it just screams MM but truthfully I can't really explain why other than you would expect him to do the same sort of thing your wife is if you look at some of his other actions on stage. Nothing meant towards your wife doing what she does. It's kind of neat in my opinion. :)
