Subwoofer making thump noise

When I play music or tv subwoofer makes thumping noise. It didn’t happen till after 3-4 days after use. Replaced system once because of this noise and here we go again. Is this a known issue?

What sub? Stand alone or part of a surround bar system?

Hi, just bought polk magnifi max sr and it's sub is making noise for 5-10 sec when I pause the music or movie.
