Amazing SACD player in great condition, plays everything I have thrown at it and sounds wonderful. Why I am selling? This is in my 2.2 channel setup attached to the main family TV, and it will only switch inputs manually, which means I am constantly yelled at by the wife and kids. So, I went a different direction.

This is in excellent condition with one small mark on one edge of the face, the face and rest of the body are nearly flawless save a few faint rub marks (I will get pics up tonight or tomorrow). No box or original remote, but I do have a Marantz RC001PMCD (for the Marantz CD6005) that controls all functions, including input switching and layer selection (its redbook by default, you have to select the SACD layer). I know how to pack, and have sold and shipped many items over the years.

I am asking exactly what I paid for this: $1065 plus actual shipping via FedEx ground fully insured plus any applicable PayPal fees. I will leave this here exclusively for about a week, and then it will be listed on the 'gon for mo' money.

    Stupid good price. If I hadn't just bought the Tri Vista I'd be all over it. Heard the s3 version of this a few months ago and it sounded better to me than the Esoteric player they had. Somebody buy this.

    I would love for this thing to move from Central Texas to North Texas, but I just can’t make it happen right now. I love my 8005 and I know this would be a nice upgrade.

    And just to be clear on the input switching, both the remote and the button on the front panel switch inputs just fine, but I could not get my harmony to switch inputs through a macro command.

    Also, SACDs play perfect and sound great! Per the manual, on hybrid discs you should select the layer that you want before pushing play, which works great!
