    God rest his Soul.

I hope I don't go out that way... meaning I don't want to be mentally unaware of my life in that very last moment of consciousness.

Yeah "Dutch" was a good one. He lived a full life. Played in high school sports, president of the student body, a captain in the Air Force, a popular actor, governor, and then President of the United States. What a life and the epitome of what being an American is all about.

I thought it was in the Constitution that our president must be American born.

The contitution is nearing 300 years it is a great guide but it should not be the final say. Things have changed and it should change also. Lets not turn this into an I love arnold thing i think its a shame that he was the most qualified in the eyes of the voters.

Bro, you know I like ya, so I hope you take this the right way. You're barking up the wrong tree, the Constitution is just fine the way it is. Things haven't changed that much when it comes to these matters.

Same 'right way' comment....but isn't it funny how the Constitution is "just fine" for everyone but all of a sudden it needs to be ammended because of the "threat" of **** marriage?

Things change, and (not having really gone over the constitution before) it seems plausible that it could be a little bit outdated considering the changes that have been made in the world since its inception....

    Article II, Section 1:

"No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States."

Great foreigners may emerge, but only natural born American citizens will ever qualify to be President of the USA.

Arnold may be a popular actor, but he's not qualified to be President. I seriously doubt he's qualified to run Rhode Island, much less Cali...
