I wouldn't be surprised at all if they should work out their differences and get back together. Especially if they don't make money after going their separate ways.

IMHO Scott Stapp should have just replaced the band members and kept Creed alive. I can't see him making it as a solo artist.
    My setup :

Not that I'm wearing my Creed T-shirt today or anything, but I'm so sick of the PJ comparison / reference / statement.

I don't think they sound anything alike, does anyone really think they do (or they tried to?).

Creed didn't have much in their bag, another one-trick Pony, for some it was a good trick, others it wasn't. No different than any of the other drivel out today.

Take Linkin Park for example - how long can they keep selling Teen Angst? EVERY song they put out is the same. I liked them when they first hit the market, but now its the same crap, over and over. Another 1 trick Pony.

You'd think with what, 6 or 8 or however many member band they are, they'd actually be able to make something that sounds different from their previous attempts, and 'evolve' musically.

    Cheers,
    Russ

This is the best news I've heard all day.

Those guys are a bunch of pussies.

I hope they all forget how to play their instruments.

I heard that the lead singer can play piano well, but sucks on the organ.;)
Bob Mayo, on the keyboards. Bob Mayo.

I agree with ya, Russ. I'm a fan of both bands but I couldn't say that they sound alike. I think Creed had a harder sound to their music.

I'm a big LP fan myself. Even got Hybrid Theory and Meteora on vinyl. Russ, I take you haven't listened to their three albums and are basing that just off of the radio singles? Even though Reanimation is songs from Hybrid Theory remixed, it is a much different sound. Much more hip hop oriented. And then on Meteora, they definitely tried some different sounds with Breaking the Habit and Nobody's Listening.

Not so I am afraid. I heard the new spin-off band this morning on the way to work. Its 3/4 of Creed without the singer, obviously. And yeah, it pretty much sounded like 3/4 of Creed, with just a different voice. So, lets just hope people don't fall in love with this crap now.

Tremonti is a great guitarist*. I wonder what he'll be able to accomplish with a better singer.

I also strongly agree with Russ.

**EDIT** Great for his generation of musicians.
