Help with my Denon POA-2800

My Onkyo Preamp died that I was using with my Denon POA2800 and now I’m struggling try to find a way to listen to my Kappa 8’s. I have an Onkyo TX-SR804 AV Receiver that I’m trying to use in its place but it doesn’t seem to want to work as a pre-amp. Any recommendations?

    Connect the amp to the pre-amp out "front" connections on the AVR.

    You need to get into the program modes in the AVR to properly set things up. Read the owner's manual.
