I don't have experience with this exact speaker but I've fried a couple tweeters so I feel your pain. From photos all the drivers seem to be held in by Allen head screws and shouldn't be hard to remove. When I replaced the tweeters in my Revel F208s and my previous HTD tower 3s (like I said I have made some mistakes) the tweeters where stuck in place after removing the screws. I'm not sure if its glue overspray or tacky finish when the drivers where installed at the factory but you will probably have to pry them out carefully without damaging them. I have a small hook and pick set I inserted into the screw holes to pull mine out. After they pull free it was just a matter of swapping wires (solder or spades in my experience). Hope this helps as im not sure what problem exactly you are running into.
