Affix New RTi-Series Grill Cloth

Has anyone "out there" had any experience with replacing the speaker grill covering material on any of the RTi series of towers? I picked up an otherwise excellent pair of Rti-A5 speakers for my shop the other day for $50. The case and drivers are solid, but the grill-cloth on both units has been 'catted' in the absolute extreme...

Who the hell lets their cat climb their towers!? #BeatTheCat

I have the old cloth stripped off both RTi-A5 grills ~ which actually leaves the plastic grill superstructure looking kinda' BladeRunner when installed on the boxes :-)

The build on the RTi series was one where the grill-cloth was heat-sealed onto the plastic frame superstructure. This is unlike anything I've faced before ~ with the usual wood structure and staples / glue.

I've spent a bit of time searching the Web' and YouTube etc., to no avail. I do believe that I may have discovered an answer that Google does not possess :-)

Appreciate any detailed, first-hand info' that you may have. A video would be icing on the cake.

Appreciate your time.

PS / BTW: unrelated speaker-grill "Hot Tip". I also own two pairs of RTi9's, and had to deal with missing grill-frame pins... Polk replied with "out of stock", a few online shops replied with "we have a slightly difference size than that".

The success story? You know those metal pins that fit into holes in/under shelving racks, where there are rows of holes on either side, and movable pins under the shelf on each end, both to hold up the shelf as well as allow modification of shelf height...?

Those fit perfectly, and are dirt cheap.
