Hit some yard sales today and found a technics t.t. sl d2, and a technics sa424 classA reciever. Both are in great condition, the adc cart. is perfect and the t.t. holds speed, not sure what the per channel rating is on the reciever but it has plenty of gut. They also had a pair of mcs three ways that needed foam but I passed on them, they had a orange mid that was about two inches in dia. Think I should have picked them up? I need to find a decent t.t. preamp, anybody have one?

Cheers,
Mike

MCS is in fact a speaker that was sold by JCPenny's. I have a pair in the workshop (model #?) that have a built in trip reset so they can't be over driven (did that a couple times) being run by a MCS reciever, they still play good after 20yrs. They are desent speakers that don't sound bad and play loud FWIW.

Forgot to mention what I grabbed them for, 20 bucks. Not bad for the two pieces.
