I agree. They are currently on 16s. But with french doors, a fireplace and a wet bar taking up 3 of the 4 walls in the room, I’m forced to put the TV in a corner. The new TV is larger and now depending on your seat, the speakers block the lower corners of the screen. Lowering them 4 inches should correct that issue. And as a bonus, the next TV could even be larger.

May want to look into studio monitor stands instead of home theater oriented stands so the speakers can have some upward tilt applied to them. Here's an example:
