Need Help Identifying Polk 10's

Amazing! Thank you. These speakers blow my mind in sound quality. I've been playing them on my Pioneer SX-650 so far. I'll probably pull the speakers up to my main listening area using a Pioneer SX-780. Can you tell I love the Pioneer sound signature... haha. I plan to keep reading through the forum for even more details based on your comments. There seems to be plenty of upgrade information for the later models that may be helpful.

First thing you'll want to do (and most expensive) is upgrade the caps and resistors. Just bite the bullet and do it to the extent your budget allows. It will pave the way to fully appreciate the later mods which are not as expensive. Doing them one at a time was very enjoyable for me, to assess the effects independently.George / NJ

I definitely plan to get the best caps possible as you suggested. However, I'm having trouble finding the specifications. It seems that Polk re published specs years ago for the 10a and has since been restricted or taken down. Any recommendations or ideas where I can find the correct replacement caps and resistors. Suppose I can rely on the current board? 2.7 ohm at 5 watts? I'm not sure about the caps though.

You have two, 2.7 ohm 5 watt resistors. The caps are a 12uF 50 volt and a 33uF 50 volt. Film caps have higher voltage ratings, which is fine.Political Correctness'.........defined

Excellent, thanks for responding so quickly. I can't wait to get those caps and resistors installed. At least one of the resistors is out of spec. I thought I uploaded the other photos as well so hopefully they have come through now.
If you don't mind, let me know if you're still thinking these are the OG's. Probably not worth much except to a collector as mentioned but I'm definitely enjoying them so far. Thanks again for all of your work and postings over the years. It's really helpful to new Polk enthusiast. -
I'd guess they are OG. Those components looked familiar to me so I dug up some pics I have of an early Model 7 crossover that predates yours by a bit because it had the Audax tweeter that they used before the Peerless.

It looks like, from the earliest brochure (pre Model 5) I have, that there was a Model 10 that had the Audax tweeter. Resolution of the scan could be better. Do you have a hardcopy of the early brochure marc hardy? This brochure was transitionary because artist sketch clearly shows the Peerless.
