Polk LSiFX repair - correct tweeter?
I bought several LSiFX surrounds recently. One arrived damaged. The seller had a replacement tweeter shipped to me, but when I went to replace it, I noticed the magnetic assembly on the replacement tweeter was different.
Here's a couple pictures showing the difference.
The seller told me he had previously had the tweeters rebuilt by Speaker Exchange in Florida with new cone material and coils. Could this explain the difference?
I also found a tube floating around in the stuffing. It looks like it's supposed to be attached to the upper "Power Port" on the rear of the cabinet.
