In Ceiling ATMOS speaker recommendations for 7.2.4 set up
Hi All, I am in the process of upgrading from 7.1 set up to 7.2.4 . My current 7.1 speaker setup is 2x RTiA 9s, 1 CSiA 6, and 4x FXiA 6s . My room dimensions are 18' X 14.5' X 9' and I have two rows of seats(4 seats in each row). Ceiling height is 8 ' from the rear row and 9' from the front row. The front row is exactly 12' from the screen. and the back row is 18' from the screen(close to the back wall). The side surrounds are exactly located on the sides of first row(at about 1' from the ceiling) and rear surrounds are on the back wall at bout 1' from the ceiling. I am thinking to go with 265-RT for the 4 ATMOS speakers but I am not sure if they are a good choice as I am not able to find the dispersion/Coverage of 265-RT. Is it more effective if I go with angled speakers?

You have a larger room then I have, those 265-RT are highly regarded, I always see those mixed with MC 80 in ceilings.
I wish I could be more help for you, I want to see what answers you get here also. The spread on a d'appolito is more controlled for less reflections, not sure about how wide of spread they have compared to other options, good question..
