Denon avr-1400

I recently got an avr-1400 , but it didn't come with a remote or a manual . Does anybody know which remotes I can use with it or where I can find a manual ?

    Any universal that will control Denon receivers should work...

    Check the Denon website for a manual, they have manuals for their discontinued products out there...

    By the way, I'm not aware of an AVR 1400 by Denon...

    I did a bunch of research myself before I bought mine, and I don't remember a AVR-1400 either. They did make an AVR-1403, could that be it? Here's a link to where the manual is located.

    If you know the remote's model number, u can try searching for it on ebay. Just needs a bit of patience but you should prolly get one for around 20 bucks or less. Kris

    Yup, that looks like a 1400. It looks like an older version of the 1403 (about the same specs, just looks like new formats came out since then). You can try freemanuals.com (but they really don't have much), or try sending an e-mail to Denon. They should have one somewhere they can get you.

    Hello,

    I just joined this group a few minutes ago.

    I recently purchased a used avr-1400 and yes - they do exist.

    The remote that you need is a DENON RC-832 (See attachment.)

    I found a place that sells manuals and I purchased a user's manual and a service manual for the unit.

    I'd probably be willing to share them for a financial consieration - they cost me $25USD.
