Would it be ok to put two RC 60’s and two MC 60’s together? Would sound be noticeably different to the average listener?

I wouldn't mix them together in the same system if starting from scratch. The RC has a metalized soft dome tweeter and the MC has a silk dome tweeter. That would be the main audible difference. Both types of tweeter can be aimed at the listening area. The MC is a better speaker line. The MC line is on a big discount on Crutchfield at the moment...

If I already had a pair of one type installed I'd just build a system around that type. Doing in ceiling or in wall systems make it difficult to swap speakers later because of different speaker sizes so I say do it right the first time and match everything up from the beginning.
