Years ago I met her when she performed in a Neil Simon play at the university where I did events work. She must have been about 40 or so. Very down to earth, talented and beautiful. I distinctly remember standing beside her with a bunch of the production crew in a crowded elevator.

Whew! I read this quickly and thought it said shingles. :|

On topic. Sad to see, but as I recall she's had a fairly long, rough stretch in recent years. :(

In every poll ever given with the choice of "MaryAnn or Ginger", MaryAnn won overwhelmingly.
(Those choosing Ginger were later determined to be mentally challenged)

    R.I.P. MaryAnn. 😢

What's weird is she seemed fine just about a week ago, also working on a new show, so Covid took her fast in just a few days.. She definitely was one of my first crushes as a small boy.

So this leaves Ginger as the last one standing on the island..

  • The pic of her with the Nevada sash might be from 1959 when she was in the Miss America pageant.

I would have voted for her except I was only 6 .
