For your consideration, I offer my ClearAudio Stradivari MC Cartridge. New retail for this is $4000.00!!! This is a beautiful sounding and dynamic cartridge with about 200 hours on it. It is not the V2 version, but comes with all the original packing material. This has been my backup cart for if/when my Goldfinger ever needed service, but I don't get the time to spin vinyl these days, so I would rather someone get the use of it. Again, it is the original Strad, but the specs are identical.

Wow. Some back up. I was just looking at the Gardo Black 3 as a upgrade to my AT95.

Maybe some day I'll be able to accommodate a cart this great!

Some lucky soul needs to treat themselves as this is a great deal on an outstanding cart from a trusted seller. The Strad that I got from John almost 2 years ago continues to amaze me and has taken my vinyl playback to a level I did not think was possible.
  • What do you think of the V1 vs. V2?

There is not differences my ear can pick up. I put it back on the table last week to give it a listen. If my ear had not been spoiled by the Goldfinger, I would be very happy with keeping this one.

  • These cartridges are so cool looking it's a shame they get mostly covered up by the headshell.
