Anyone had any experience with the NAD C218 amp? I'm contemplating getting it to power my LSi25's. I was thinking of the C272, but the C218 seems like a much more powerful beast. Any thoughts?

I use NAD C272 for my RT800i's. Very powerful amp 150 x 2w continuous power. I paid $920 CDN. including taxes. C272 is a steal for what it sells. Sweet amp!

My best friend has an NAD C218. He used it to drive an Audes Soul, Magnepan MG1C, Polk RT7 and Spendor S3/5SE. It didn't have any problems driving those speakers. The only thing he and I disliked about it was the binding posts don't like angled spade lugs. They were a **** to tighten. Here's some specs on the beast.

That's the model I wanted but ended up buying the C270 because the dealer didn't carry the 218.
If you can't find the 218, the 272 will work fine with your LSi. My 270 have no problem powering my LSi9. The 25's should actually be more efficient than the 9's because the subs are powered and the top section cuts off at 80hz.
