Purchased this from OneCall.com as an open box special, Dec 2010. Placed in storage when I moved to Germany, 2014, because it isn’t 220V compatible. Solid performance while I used it and never took a power surge…ever. Turned it on, turned it off, admired the pretty blue display. Exactly what you hope it does. Associated gear formerly powered by it; 50” Panasonic Plasma TV, Parasound HCA-1500A, Rotel RB-985, Pioneer DV-79AVi, Oppo BDP-105.

I’d say this is great in a home theater environment but could work in a modest 2 channel setup if you want outlets and protection. The meters are really cool showing voltage and amps. Pics, following, show the power on my 2-channel line two days ago and mirrored my PS Audio P-15 PowerPlant. The display has several brightness settings and, unlike earlier versions, the display can be turned off in a dark (e.g. home theater) environment.

This isn’t what I’d call a serious power conditioner like a Niagra or PowerPlant but neither is the price. Provides power management and aids in notifying you in the event of under or overvoltage and will turn off the attached equipment if it encounters a surge.

I like these for the power control with the switched outlets.

Connect a pre/pro with 12v trigger to the Panamax, and the other outlets turn on and off with the pre/pro's state. Handy.

Great price for this, especially given the condition and OE box.
