It was working great as a hardwired streamer....then the better half had to reset it for her work PC. After that, no worky. I cannot get Lightning App to recognize the unit 'within our home network'....whatever that means. I have spent hours on this to no avail. If I could swing the G1 but that is pricey. The Cambridge CNX is an option I suppose.
Is this for WiFi, so that your streamer can have its own WiFi network?
. I dunno man....thats what Auralic has on their website. What is strange is that since the router was reset when the mini was hard wired, the mini has become impossible to find in the network. Frustrating fer sur.
Yeah, sorry for your troubles. Hopefully you can get it working, that all sounds weird. At first I thought you wanted to give the streamer its own router for a wired connection. I suppose it might make a little bit of sense for WiFi. Still seems like it shouldn’t be necessary to me.
Is the Auralic set up with a static IP? If not, are you able to give it one?
Sometimes there are hiccups as devices' IPs change on router and/or device resets. Best way to avoid this if it becomes a problem is to set the IP manually outside of the router's DHCP range or to reserve an IP by the device's MAC address.
Well, I have cracked the code. Reset the router again and no dice.
Then....I deleted the Lightning App and re installed on my iphone. BAM! Reconnected on first try and back in business!!! Thank for the ideas guys....

How would this be implemented, and why?
