I caught this guy earlier lapping up my beer, and now he hasn’t moved for 45 minutes. At least he hasn’t regurgitated it. Yet. :)

    I had a friend many years ago who had an Africa Gray parrot. We were over at his house having dinner and he was drinking Jack Black. His wife wanted to show us something they had bought in another room. He had been feeding the parrot some french fries while we were eating and he left the parrot out while we went to the back room. We were back there for awhile and when we came back the parrot was hitting on the glass of Jack Black.

    This parrot (Smokey) could bark like his dog, you would swear it was his dog barking. He could also do other sounds and knew some words also. Well, the parrot was drunk and swaying on his feet, his eyes were bloodshot and he was slurring his words. He was worried it might die, but he recovered in a day or so.

    That was probably the biggest laugh I ever had as far as funny things pets do.

    Alcohol poisoning is possible, but, as with people, the quantity is the factor. A full grown cat lapping up a little beer isn’t the issue.

    You know how Civet coffee from Bali is so prized for its exotic and excellent taste.
    The taste comes from partially digested coffee cherries, which have been eaten and defecated by the Asian palm civet

    Well your cat, after drinking your beer, will eventually "process" it through its kidneys.
    If you gather that feline nectar I'm sure you'd be surprised at its aromatic bouquet of feline deliciousness ! 😎

    I don't understand house cats, honestly. On the farm we had quite a few cats around but they were outside, never inside. No offense to anyone who has them, I understand the "pet" aspect. Maybe I'm just not the cat lover type...
