Nothing but Crickets...

So I am sitting in the sweet spot for the first time in way seems like forever, whiskey in hand, and.... yes, bloody damn CRICKETS chirping away at full annoying scream levels, and there is more than one! I cannot even begin hunting them down because they are under stacks of boxes moved from other rooms in the house while we remodel them!

Somehow a cricket got in my room at the new place a while back. It didn't make noise until I was almost about to fall asleep. I got up and wasn't going to go back to bed until I found it. Being woke up by something as I'm literally about to fall asleep has a special way of angering me. When I finally found him... I didn't stop smashing my house flip flop down on him after he died, it was a massacre.

Why can't we all just get along? Crickets have rights, too. You just need to be more tolerable ;)

  • Jusr be happy you don't have cave crickets.
They look like they were designed by an Australian on a bad day.

I saw a mole cricket for the first time this summer. I thought it was a baby beastie of some sort at first!
