yay.
We've already had three frosts in a row the past three days. 29 degrees Sunday & Monday mornings when we got up -- 30 today.
Color is developing rapidly in the trees... but it is also very, very dry, so we're actually worried about forest fires
(otherwise, and in general, though, I love fall -- and it's usually beautiful here until mid-October)

Best season, love walking in the woods. And from a guy in Oregon, try to avoid forest fires.
-
I love hearing the teeth-chattering of the mosquitoes as they freeze to death.

Happy spring equinox to those inclined!Speakers: Polk Lsim, ATC SCM19 v2, NHT SuperzeroSpeaker Cables: DH Labs, Transparent, Wireworld, Canare, Monster: Beer budget, Bose ears

It's pretty wild to think that at 9:30am eastern time the earth's equator and its ecliptic path around the sun are in alignment. I think the bass was a little tighter when I listened this morning, the sound stage was definitely broader and cleaner. Then a few minutes later, listening to the same recording, you could hear everything shift. Cosmic!

I just tried to balance an egg on its end. Been meaning to try this for years. Couldn't get it. Turns out it's an old wives tale!
Apparently all my eggs are the wrong kind for this.

I notice that same phenomena, Mark. I think the sun swings somewhere between 15° to 25° down here between Summer and Winter.I disabled signatures. -

I love fall, and not even sarcastically! The sun is finally beginning to relent.

That bright "star" to the left of the moon is actually the planet Jupiter. Saturn is a little to the left and down from Jupiter. At least that's my view from Western PA.
