Magnapan MG10-qr. Any recommendations?

So work has been slow due to the poor air quality here in Portland and I'm boored. I've found a couple of items I'm interested in trying one being a pair of the MG10's. Reviews seem to be all positive with the exception of them needing a sub to complete the experience. I love my SDA 1C's but it's all a journey right? Not sure if I'd ever get rid of them and they match really well with my room layout but I'm thinking my next upgrade should be speakers.

Thoughts?

What genre of music do you listen to most?

Varies on my mood but very little classical or Rap and not so much heavy metal any more. Lately I've been going from folk music to pop, county to classic R&B.

    Not sure that helps

I’ve never seen/heard a pair. Quite narrow and the owner’s manual refers to subwoofers, which is unusual for them. I was reading on a different forum just now that they were designed to use with a subwoofer, since they start to roll off around 80 hz.

Never mind. They sold almost immediately. Seems almost every time I find something I want to get, someone beats me to it.

Pretty inexpensive way to figure out if you like Maggies. They are my speaker of choice, but they have their problems: FEED ME MORE POWER, for one?

Got that handled. Just can't go out from the back wall more than 2 ft is my only concern

I have a pair of the LRS' and they're pretty good on everything except large symphonic works. I was just listening to some Marvin Gaye Sunday night. Beautiful.
