Polk command sound bar looses tv sounds after seconds

My polk sound bar is connected with HDMI , has been working for a year. Went away came home turned tv on we get sound for about 10 seconds then it cuts off. It works fine with Alexa and spotify. Any suggestions

It would behest to telephone Polk at: 1-800-377-7655 and follow prompts for soundbar assistance first thing tomorrow. It would be a good idea to have the unit's serial number available when you call.

Make sure you don't have both optical and hdmi arc plugged in. just pick one
