Hey guys. I am officially hooked on playing War Thunder. I have always enjoyed the WW2 era planes building models, etc. This game is perfect for me as it is not too fast for an old f-a-r-t and I love to fly. I am not a gamer and only started this during the virus.
Currently I play the sound thru my 2 channel speaker system and love it. I don't like headphones.
I have a microphone question. I want to try a microphone with the speaker system. I don't know if this will work. The chatting would come over the speakers along with battle sounds and the mic would pick up my voice along with the chatting and battle sounds. Has anybody tried this before? I can always go get a mic and give it a try but I wanted to bounce it off you guys first.
Thanks

A good mic will block the sound from the speakers pretty well. The mic I use is an Audio Technica AT-2020 USBi mic, and I recommend it for gaming. It's kind of expensive but can be found cheaper if you look around.
I haven't had any complaints from anybody about sounds from the speakers and I am using the Polk SDA-SRS speakers hooked up to my computer. I do use the push to talk option on the VoIP and have it bound to my "B" key on the keyboard. That also helps reduce the noise when you're not talking. -
Thanks Nesmith
