My son got his first turntable today:

I helped him set this up. Pretty decent sounding machine leveraging built in phono stage in Onkyo NR 818 receiver and deriving Polk LsiM703.

    That is a good choice for a starter table. The Rega arms are robust and will take some abuse unlike some of the thinner more fragile designs. Hope he enjoys it!
