Does anyone here have the L100 or L200?
Reviews seem to be starting to come in.
I will look for the TAS review.
Does anyone here have either one? How’s the fit and finish?
Seems like the front baffle comes in either a matte or glossy finish, depending on veneer.
How’s the quality of the build?
How’s the sound compared to other Polk bookshelves?
Thx

I have the L200’s. The fit and finish is top notch. I am a fan of the L200’s. I am also a fan of the LSiM 703’s. PM me for more particulars if you wish.

Fit and finish is flawless. Black comes with a gloss black baffle. Walnut comes with a matte black baffle. Binding posts are very nice and the jumpers are copper cable.Political Correctness'.........defined

I enjoyed my time with the L200's. I felt they were a very 'intimate' speaker. In a smaller room with some tubes in the mix, very easy to listen to.

I can see that. I need a pair of Polks for the master. The 703 just look too “big”Magico M2, JL113v2x2, EMM, ARC Ref 10 Line, ARC Ref 10 Phono, VPIx2, Lyra Etna, Airtight Opus1, Boulder, AQ Wel&Wild, SRA Scuttle Rack, BlueSound+LPS, Thorens 124DD+124SPU, Sennheiser, Metaxas R2R -

Haha
Don’t be a jerk.
L200 is over an inch shorter
L100 is over 3 inches shorter
It’s not about fitting a speaker in the master, it’s about finding something that gets approval, dummy.Magico M2, JL113v2x2, EMM, ARC Ref 10 Line, ARC Ref 10 Phono, VPIx2, Lyra Etna, Airtight Opus1, Boulder, AQ Wel&Wild, SRA Scuttle Rack, BlueSound+LPS, Thorens 124DD+124SPU, Sennheiser, Metaxas R2R -
I've spent considerable time with the L100 and love them immensely. If they are the right size for your room, don't even think twice about them. Their performance will put a big smile on your face.

Okay I’ll be nice (though you make it difficult dude to be perfectly honest). I don’t prefer the polks for the price. My only remaining polls are patio speakers, and I have owned a bunch over the years. If space is an issue, I LOVED both my Dynaudio emit m10s which are tiny with incredible bass for the size, and the PSB imagine Bs, which are slightly bigger. Pair either one of those with a little SVS SB1000 and you will have truly full range sound in a small package for the same price as the polks and top to bottom the sound would be better overall. Of course, depending on the size of the bedroom and listening habits you could just skip the sub, especially with the PSBs.Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es

The L200’s smoked my Dynaudio Audience 72’s in my system. In fact, I took the Audience 72’s to a friend’s home with LSi-15’s and I was surprised that the LSi’s also were superior by all accounts.

Hmm that’s interesting. I have never heard the audience line, and I was comparing to the LSiM703s, but the tweeter in the m10s was clearly better, and they did have that annoying bass bump that the 703s have. The combination made them a more coherent speaker overall.
I wasn’t able to compare those dyns with the L200s...but since the L200s weren’t embarrassed by my Contour 1.3 mii, I definitely think they are a big improvement over the 703s...Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es

the top end of the L200’s is indeed superior to the 703’s.
