Cryptid Computer Creature

If I don't login into my work VPN first before going to certain URLs, I get this guy in Firefox:

What the heck is that supposed to be...some sort of 'zilla' creature?

It looks like it's related to the original Mozilla dinosaur. Is this in Firefox?

Here's a short link to an image search - Short Link

And here's a link to a discussion about it on Reddit. Neat.

Thanks for the links, Scott. Yes, this was from Firefox, and I suspected it was a zilla.
Weird representation of Mozilla...especially the mouth and 'fang'.

Not surprising that some of our company's web-based apps work better on Firefox, and some are better on IE. I use Chrome for personal stuff.

it's a chubby little dino with xs for eyes. Po' thang...

EDIT: upon closer inspection, he/she/they appears to be squinting.

PS I use an analog browser -- so much warmer and richer than the brittle, sterile "accuracy" of the digital ones...

That’s Zilla trying to read a map while drunk.

He is trying to find the site for you with one eye.

Joe, you say that like the Noid is a thing of the past. True nerds still run Android!

Dropped Firefox a long time ago due to their political crap. Wish companies would stop preaching social justice and other political positions and just put out a product.

FWIW - I now normally use and recommend the SlimJet browser. Faster, ad blocking built in, Chrome extension compatible, etc.
Expect that there will be bumps in the road. Choose to not let them rattle you.

    Polk - Monitor 10As, SDA 2Bs, LSi9s, White RTi4s, S4s, M3s, various centers.
    Boston - CR7, CR6s, CR4s.

The fact that I even knew the term 'cryptid' (for titling this thread) should tell you that I've been watching waaay too much Travel Channel :# They seem to have cornered the market on shows about the paranormal.
