Sounds like firmware is mismatch. Common problem apparently. First thing to do is make sure you set the bar up using Google Home app and let it fetch latest firmware update. See if that fixes the issue...
If issue persists, The next thing to do is follow a procedure to verify the sub and surround firmware is properly updated... There are other forums posts out there indicating the 10+ steps you should perform to do this. Just make sure you update the bar first by setting up in Google app.
