RIP Ted, so sorry to hear about this.
Wow, that last pic seems like it was two lifetimes ago.So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

Carl, here are a couple photos of that weekend at Ted's...
Hey Shack!
Thanks for sharing all the photos! I see Sal, Hoosier, and the pic of me and Jesse in Ted's garage is very memorable. Ted was a special Polkie. It's sad to see him go so young.
Here is another from Polkfest '12. Ted has on his Michigan State sweatshirt, standing between Jesse and ESavinon.

Seriously? I know he had a bunch of health issues, which wouldn't have helped.Political Correctness'.........defined

Ted and I jumped in that car for a demo at Polk HQ. God knows what the guy had in there for music, but we kept cranking it up until our guts were pounded with every bass hit. Ted was grinning from ear to ear and he swears my hair moved. Good times.

I went to Ted's funeral this evening, it was very nice. It was good to see Darlene and the family.....I told some PF stories and let them all know how much Ted meant to all of us freaks. He did have Covid-19 so I hate the fact that the family couldn't be with him when he passed.
On to Alabama for another (not Covid-19) funeral in the morning....

Thank you for going and paying your respects to Ted.

I'm sorry to hear this. I hadn't clicked on this thread because I thought it was about a celebrity I was unfamiliar with. I didn't recognize the name... before my time here.

This is saddening.
I just remembered my first thread/post on this site where Ted had repeatedly answered my dumb questions and tried to steer me down the right path. Solid guy giving advice to a stranger on day 1...

Sad, RIP Ted.
I think I took that picture Carl.... Quite a few years back I stored some speakers here Ted bought from another forum member. We had a nice visit when he picked them up. That last picture at Lou's is priceless. Ted and George. Great times were had. Oh. And of course, Mark goofing around as usual
Yes, that was quite a crew in Jersey. Thanks to Lou for hosting. Had a lot of fun and all pictured are really great people.

Yes, Ted was from Chicago (or maybe a close suburb of Chicago). It said in his obit but I forget. We talked about his roots and how he would always consider Chicago his home. IIRC, he had a daughter somewhere near Madison, WI also. He talked about getting up "this" way quite often. I live in Rockford. Chicago proper is about 90 miles west of here and Madison is about 60 miles North of here.
