Frank’s vaults are impressive. One of my regrets is passing up seeing him on stage when I had the chance

Really interesting
-
He was a really interesting and totally uncompromised & committed composer and musician. He's also essentially a patron saint in the Czech Republic, which I think is cool as heck.

A musical genius is what Frank Zappa was. I seen him off the Joe's Garage tour in San Diego what a show we were 5th row from the Stage.Home Theater

Frank was so far ahead of the curve, the curve still has not caught up.
In my younger years I detested Franks music. I now have an great appreciation for his groove. Some of it I still am on the fence about. The man however was and well always be one of the best musicians in my lifetime. Watching him shred Tipper Gore and those other slugs was great TV.
One brilliant mind!! -
Excellent video about Zappa.

I enjoy everything he ever recorded, never a dull moment.

Well, I actually did while in Faces ... solo, not so much. Saw him later days (at wife’s insistence), and his pathetic attempt at being a crooner with great American songbook ... even my beer didn’t taste good with that playing. -
And echo the raves for Zappa ... anyone else listening to Rocktails on SiriusXM with his son Ahmet? Very entertaining.
-
No XM anymore but I like this: https://faroutmagazine.co.uk/frank-zappa-hilarious-interview-grace-slick/amp/

There's a new documentary about Frank available on streaming platforms. I have not seen it.

What's the name of it? -
Does anyone know where this going to be available from? Jhw59 said streaming platforms but although it’s supposedly available tomorrow I’ve seen nothing about where it’s available etc
-
-
Thanks. I had just read about Amazon Prime good to know about the others.
-
Just watched it. Turns out it’s also available on demand from DirecTV and a bunch of cable providers. Lots of stuff I didn’t know. Enjoyable and informative overall. Must’ve been a tough one to make, so much.

I got a kick out of the note Moon sent to her Dad.
