Any thoughts or owners on/of Unison Research Simply Phono Tube Stage

Anyone own one or had one or heard one before? Any feedback would be appreciated.
Can’t find recent reviews, not sure what cartridges would work with it? Seems to be more for MM and mid to hi output MC.

Right now I’m using a Rega Planar P6 with a low output Rega Ania cart with Rega Aria Stage.
I just purchased the Simply Phono new in box as I could not pass up on the price. Don’t think it will work with my Ania cart but I can change out carts if it sounds good.
Of course would go with my Unison Research Simply Italy tube amp hence why I purchased it.

I just was on their website and it looks very nice. Looks like it has adequate gain for most mc cartridges, except for the very low-output models. What’s the Ania’s output?

Hi, the Ania is .35mv! Store where I purchased mentioned needing at least .8mv. I will check it out once it arrives.

Just arrived in the mail and thought I would try it out. Ania cart way to low for this stage. Had to turn the volume way up to hear. Kinda figured that as the retail store told me don’t use any cartridge under .8mv!
Well time to lol into carts!

True but I do not want to add another piece to the chain.
I’m fine with finding a cart that matches with the Unison stage.

Going to grab a new Benz Micro Glider SM MC Cart. The SM is the medium output at .8mv
Should match up well with my system.
