What's up gentleman,
I am looking for a subwoofer recommendations. Here is my setup.
95 Celica Hatchback
Hifonics Zues ZX4400
Front Speakers Polk db6750
Rear Speakers Polk db675
Alpine 9827 Deck
The Fronts are hooked up to the amp, and the rears are being run off the deck.
I'm going to bridge the other two channels for the sub.
It would output 170 watts at 4ohms according to the manual.
I am pretty happy with the amp, although I probably should have gotten, the ZX6400.
I listen to mostly rock, and i'm looking for a clean tight hit. If I could find a nice 8" that would fit the bill, that would be cool, but a 10" would be okay too. I'm not looking to shake the ground, just round out my system.
What do you guys think?

I'll get flamed for this...but with that power....I'd run a Pair of JL 8w0's. They will be tight..box will be about .8cubes and will do that job off that amp. Dont take much to get them loud
And if folks say the 8w0's wont go low enough..I will argue that. I have one set for center..but was playin with it quite a bit... does the job well...

I'd go with a single 12w0 over two 8's.
