Anybody with Qobuz have skipping or stuttering at beginning of songs?

I've been a subscriber for 4 mos. or so now and this is really starting to annoy me. I have a Lenovo PC that was nearly state of the art 3 yrs ago and 75/75 Verizon Fios and am the only user of bandwidth in the house. NEVER had this problem with TIDAL and I'm thinking of going back to them and paying the extra $5 per mo. if I can't solve this. I like the full honest high res streams vs. MQA though so I'm in a quandary. I also submitted a complaint with Qobuz but thought I'd ask the members here also. Thanks!

I've tried quobuz three different times and always have endless issues. Customer support is worthless as well.

Do you recall having that particular problem? I know when they get back to me they will try to tell me that I'm the only one who has reported this issue or that it has something to do with my computer etc..

Yes, skipping, not playing, only playing 30 seconds at a time, just random issues

I have read on other forums about the same complaints people are experiencing with qobuz, I tried qobuz and did not experience anything like you except for slow response from the app at times, but I've read alot of complaints about the very issues your experiencing. I'm a happy Tidal subscriber never an issue with them.

I’ve not had any problems, but their pc app is inferior to tidal’s. I will say that both sound noticeably better through even a decent streamer like my SB touches. I use roon as the server (which adds to the cost) but the end result never skips or has any problems and sounds very good...

Thanks. I figure it has something to do with the coding in their app. It will be interesting to see what they have to say. I will look into some sort of streamer.

I know when I first tried Qobuz it was terrible........app kept crashing under Windows 10 and then I'd have to uninstall and reinstall and then ......lather rinse repeat. I cancelled before charges started. Tried it again recently after chatting with the rep at the New York Audio Show and he said to try it again because it's much better. I asked him how the app could have been so bad when Qobuz had been out in Europe already for years!! He said that Europeans just put up with more than Americans do lol.

You can get a sb touch for less than $150 on eBay. Huge difference in SQ verses using a computer as the streamer imho...

Same, no problems via my Lumin U1 Mini. Seems like the issues are with their Windows desktop app.

I am not having any problems this afternoon. Maybe my complaint got some action (<<< Ha ha you gotta be kiddin' me right??)

I'm experimenting with different cache and buffer settings in the desktop app to see if anything helps, but it seems like I've done this before (deja vu all over again)

No skipping so far today with settings: Cache size = 7.5Gb (customized), Buffer = 3 sec, ASIO.

I think they should have a "return to defaults" setting. I don't remember what the default was for buffer size and cache size, but I know it didn't work properly without skipping and freezing.
