Anyone built a Parts Express BlastBox?

The family and I are renting a 30ft RV next month and visiting several locations around central FL like fresh water springs and Tarpon Springs. I was looking to upgrade our current POS blutooth speaker on the pool deck.
This looks like it would be fun to build and sound great. Botnjnly for our trip but for the backyard for pool and BBQ parties.
If anyone has experience with this kit I'd love to hear it.

No, but that thing's cool. I was considering building something like this with an old car stereo and a computer power supply, but this looks turnkey.
I just had a quick look - so it's all Bluetooth? If so, my only issue with that would be range. You'd have to be somewhat nearby or leave your device with it? I need to have a closer look at this thing. Pretty cool.
Bet you could mod it to wire in a dedicated source if you wanted, like a piCorePlayer - Raspberry Pi based streamer.I disabled signatures. -

There was a kid on AK (and I do mean a kid -- early teen age) who built one of the powered PE boomboxes. I don't remember which one offhand, but you can take a look FWIW
