Polk Monitor 4 vs S10/S15

Looking to get some surround speakers for my Home Theatre. Found a pair of Monitor 4s but also looking at the new S10/S15. What would you guys recommend?

It would be helpful to know what components make up the rest of your surround sound system. Speakers at a minimum.

Sorry about that. Currently have RT55's for fronts, CS10 center with HSU Sub

In that case neither seem like a great match. Maybe you can find a pair of RT25/35? Ultimately its not a big deal and I don't direct experience with either speaker in your OP so take my advice with a grain of salt.

So -- there were 4s and there were 4s. The original version, with the Peerless silk dome tweeter, is (IMO) a very very nice sounding little loudspeaker. I've not heard an S10 nor S15 -- yet :( -- so I can't even guess how they'd compare. It would be fun and educational to find out.

I would not be surprised if the aforementioned modern Polks better the later Monitor 4 morph, with (I believe) that once-ubiquitous little Audax tweeter, though.

I have my original 4s with apparently the later tweeter. They still sound amazing. I can only imagine with the Peerless. Sitting on top are a pair of Monitor Audio Radius 90s and the combo is breathtaking tho lacking a little on the bottom end. Also have Monitor 180 center speaker behind TV. Not quite as good as my Paradigm Studio 80s in my music only room (few speakers are as good) but for a Theater room work well.
