Up for your consideration is a complete Netstor 8 bay storage enclosure.
This enclosure can use either SAS or SATA drives and can be used to create mixed RAID arrays with a mixture of SAS and SATA drives.
Included will be the enclosure with dual redundant power supplies (full disclosure, both power supplies are good but the power supply enclosure only recognizes the top power supply...if you switch the bottom supply into the top location, it works fine), 2 - 1 meter Mini SAS cables, power cables, all 8 lockable drive trays, keys and a Highpoint Rocket Raid 4522 PCI-E RAID card capable of RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and JBOD / Non-RAID Mode. *Note, bootable RAID 6 is *not* supported.
I have been using this for the last few years attached to my Plex Media Server but have recently upgraded to 2 - 24 bay NetApp disk shelves so this is no longer being used.
There are no drives included. But add your drives for a complete Local Attached Storage solution. The enclosure and card have been tested with drives up to and including 8TB.
I am asking $250 shipped to the lower 48. Payment via Paypal Friends & Family is the preferred method of payment.

Tempting. Are you saying that live power supply redundancy doesn't work or that the top PSU is primary?Expect that there will be bumps in the road. Choose to not let them rattle you.

Live power supply redundancy does not work. The issue is with the power supply chassis. Both power supplies function in the top bay but do nothing in the bottom.
I was running a UPS with it so it was never a real cause for concern for me.
I did try to track down a replacement power supply chassis but all I could find was their E-ATX chassis which will not fit in the storage enclosure chassis."Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."

We have the water remediation folks coming over again today to get some more moisture readings. We have had several of their high powered fans and 2 4 ton dehumidifiers running non stop for the last 2 nights.
