Carver Amazing Platinums for repair / part out

Back in 2009 these were sacrificed at Polkfest. Telarc William Tell Overature.

These have been lurking here for a decade.....I go back and forth about resurrection but I just don’t see it happening.

Now, if someone wants them in tact to rehab them, I think that would be awesome.

If someone is interested in parts....lemme know.

Really, kids, what I'm looking for is someone who wants to get the ribbon repaired/replaced and use them (IE not flip them). If someone wanted to do that, pretty much just come get them....

Would you be willing to meet in Savannah for $120.00 for delivery.

I can promise the would not be flipped solely for profit. I'd probably keep and enjoy them for many years to come.

It is just the ribbon that needs to be fixed right? Crossovers and woofers are good?

Savannah, huh. Dude, that is antithetical to my inner sloth.....

Lemme think on that one. I’m not saying no, but it would require more effort than I’m wanting to put into them.

Worst case, come to PF and take them and a hangover as parting gifts...

You know what that's probably a good thing. After the new foosball table I'm already getting the silent treatment.

I sure wish I had the money and space for them. I heard a pair at a former member here and fell in love. He was using Carver silver (7’s or 9’s). Heaven, he played Millage Gilbert and it was like I could reach out and shake his hand.
