Any users or Morrow Cables? They are running a 45% off sale now with the coupon code AGON45. Thinking of trying out some phone cables and maybe a REL subwoofer cable. Seems like you cant go wrong with 45% off!

I have not Kev, but they do run that sale quite often FYI, which makes it seems like less of a sale to me...

Yeah, if you get on their email list, you'll get almost weekly 'sale' notifications.

^^ trure that, which means they are overpriced to begin with.

AND they have a trade-in program where you get 40% off for trading-in any cable...no really, ANY cable. I emailed Mike Morrow about this once and specifically asked if he accepted generic cables (like the thin, cheap patch cables that come with new equipment sometimes), and he said 'Yes!' (like he was proud of it). To me, that's another indicator of how over-priced they are.

I also asked Mike about 'why the long burn-in time?' for his cables, but never got a reply. They even sell a 'burn-in service' as an add-on when you purchase from them. Btw, most reviews indicate about 400hrs of burn-in :o

Ugh. Looks like Morrow has gotten their claws into the Audiogon email distribution. The 'sale' was promoted in an Audiogon email last Friday, and now on Monday as well.

I have a few Morrow interconnects and speaker cables. I don’t have a lot of cable experience but IMO they are a big improvement over the intro level Audioquest interconnects they replaced. I find neutrality and clarity to be the defining traits. If you buy, definitely burn them in. At first listen they are harsh. I’ve had mine for a few years, so I don’t remember how long it took them to settle. I bought during a half off sale and at that price I consider them worth the $. I have MA1s and 3s.
