Magnifi SB1 Soundbar and rear speakers

Does anyone know if you can hook up external wireless speakers to the SB1 soundbar for 5.1 or even 7.1 surround sound? I noticed it should be play fi compatible. I noticed the Amazon echo's are also play fi compatible. Has anyone successfully paired Amazon Echo speakers as the rear channel of the SB1 soundbar? If so please let me know how to do it.
