Will this disco ball make a good diffuser?

I found it in the closet. Do they make like dancing laser bulbs? If they do I will hang it up otherwise it goes in the shed.

BTW my decor screams, NO WIFE IN THE HOUSE! This is the most peaceful place that I have ever been.
