lsi 9 with sw vs lsi 15 w/o sw
I am trying to set up a nice system with a pre amp, amp, etc for mostly classical, jazz, showtune jmusic for a moderate size room.=
I am torn between the lsi 9 with a subwoofer and the lsi 15 without a subwoofer. Any thoughts on which would be better. The price difference isn't big enough to be a consideration.
Thanks

If price isn't an issue then ... LSi15's with a sub.

Keep in mind the price of stands for the 9s.SDA-2a, Anthem Pre-2L, Anthem Amp 1, MF A324 DAC, Rotel RCD1070
Senn HD650 Cardas, Mapletree Audio Ear+ HD2, Kimber KS1030, Bel Canto DAC2, M-Audio Transit, Laptop. -
Keeping in mind your two original options, I'd vote for the LSi9 + Subwoofer combo.
This scenario will give you "better" bass than the LSi15 will alone.
Although I agree, the LSi15 + Sub. would be the ultimate combo.Bob Mayo, on the keyboards. Bob Mayo. -
I'd go LSi9, no sub, good heavy stands.
Showtunes?
