Twisted Pear Buffalo III 9028 Pro DAC

Options
Found an old round tuit and a few hours not working. Finally off the cookie sheet! Failed to get Arduino control to work reliably so a very simple build. The 9028 has eight different filters. An Arduino with remote would have been nice to cycle through them on the fly.

I recall when Carl was here at the last get together he didn't like whatever filter it was on (brickwall?) and we chose one that sounded better. It's still set to Slow roll off, linear phase. It is quite an improvement over my BIIIse 9018 DAC with Legato I/V board.

Twisted Pear BIIIsePro 9028 DAC
TP Mercury fully balanced active I/V line stage
Amanero USB module
TP Hermes isolation board
TP Cronus re-clocking module

Two TP Placid HD Bipolar 15v power supplies (left and right channel)
TP Centaur 5v PS for DAC
TP LCDPS 5v PS for Hermes/Cronus board

HiFi2000 Pesante 2U chassis w/baseplate and fully vented covers.

Looks nice, Rich! Been too long since we've met up, and tough to do so in these times.

Glad work let you have a few hours off!

Thx! Been a tough year. Good vehicle techs are hard to find which makes me more essential. Dana had to have her colon re-sectioned (diverticulitis developed pin holes). Colostomy bag time since March. Still await surgery to reconnect it all, hospital's only doing life threatening surgeries now.
